Dr. Benedetto specializes in a wide variety of body-sculpting treatments using laser liposuction at his Philadelphia, PA medical practice.

Looking to enhance your self-image by losing those trouble-spots of excess fat? Consider visiting Dr. Benedetto of the Dermatologic Surgicenter in Philadelphia, PA. As a board-certified cosmetic dermatological surgeon, Dr. Benedetto specializes in a wide variety of body-sculpting treatments using laser liposuction at his Philadelphia, PA medical practice.

“If our patients are looking to lose weight and cannot remove any of those localized sections of fat with exercise, we can successfully remove this fat from patients in Philadelphia, PA with laser liposuction,” says Benedetto. “We do body sculpting, we do facial sculpting…we do it all.”

Laser liposuction is a combination of the traditional liposuction, and a touch-up with a laser to remove the last remaining zones of resistant, concentrated fat. First, Dr. Benedetto will attempt to remove excess fat through suctioning alone. Often times, however, there is resistance due to scar tissue or adhesions. The laser liposuction in Philadelphia, PA compensates for this by using a laser to heat up and melt the excess fat, helping to eliminate some of the more resistant areas that are difficult to remove with plain liposuction.

For example, areas like the flanks in women or men’s pectoral region are common trouble spots for people trying to lose excess weight. These areas are traditionally characteristic of very fibrous tissue mixed in with the fat that makes it very difficult to for the fat to be extracted. “The laser is able to break all that up,” explains Benedetto. “It makes it easier to suction out the fat by breaking up the fat from the fibrous tissue.”

But even if you started the procedure by melting the fat, you still have to remove it in some way, says Benedetto. This is where the regular liposuction comes in. So basically, laser liposuction is both a combination of sucking out the fat and melting the fat.

“Lasers just produce heat, no matter where you’re treating on the body, or what you’re treating on the body,” explains Benedetto. The light from the laser gets converted into heat. The laser will either melt fat, melt the surface of the skin, melt blood vessels, or burn brown spots on the surface of the skin. So, when you’re getting laser liposuction in Philadelphia, PA at your local Dermatologic Surgicenter, it’s adjusted so it just melts away the excess fat. But the body cannot tolerate storing liquid fat, and therefore needs to have it removed quickly and efficiently. Therefore, Dr. Benedetto uses the joint technique of laser liposuction and liposuction to solve the problem.

Successful, long-term weight loss requires a holistic approach.

Losing weight is a process that takes more than just exercise and dieting. According to Dr. Kelly Cobb of Nouriche Wellness & Medical Aesthetics in Lafayette, medical weight loss professionals emphasize the need for attention to be placed on the emotional and psychological components of weight loss, as well.

At Nouriche Wellness & Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Cobb explains that part of her clinic’s weight loss philosophy centers around trying to balance all the necessary components in losing weight, be it eating healthier, exercising more, and feeling better from an emotional and psychological point of view. If one part of that wheel is off or not functioning correctly, it’s impossible for a medical weight loss plan in Lafayette to really take hold and work like it should.

Other major parts of weight loss that Dr. Cobb says many people overlook have to do with hormone balance, metabolism, and vitamin deficiencies. Most people who have a hormonal imbalance don’t even realize it, and certain vitamin deficiencies and metabolism problems can be even harder to self-diagnose. Only when people are under the care of a physician at a medical weight loss program in Lafayette do these issues usually come to light.

Dr. Cobb believes that it is imperative that patients receive ample education about food rotations and other issues as a part of their weight loss programs because there is a huge number of functional imbalances that can create barriers and prevent people from losing weight. To push back against this, Dr. Cobb looks at weight loss from an integrative perspective. Men and women looking to lose weight in a safe and healthy way need to change the air they’re breathing, and they need to work with a medical professional in helping to establish a baseline level based on where they currently are.

Her goal for each medical weight loss patient at Nouriche Wellness & Medical Aesthetics is to do a maintenance detox once each session. The specifics of what is involved in these detox sessions are customized based on each patient’s individual needs and concerns; one person might have a 10-day maintenance detox protocol, while another person might have something completely different. Dr. Cobb assesses what each of her patients needs from an individual point of view, rather than grouping people together based on height or weight.

For help getting started toward your weight loss goals, Dr. Cobb recommends contacting her medical weight loss clinic in Lafayette to find out more.

Spending hours and the gym and still not seeing the results you want?

Spending hours and the gym and still not seeing the results you want? Sometimes a healthy lifestyle just isn’t enough. As Torrance liposuction specialist Linda Swanson, MD explains, despite your best diet and exercise efforts stubborn fat pockets in trouble spots like your hips, thighs, arms and abdomen can remain.

At Dr. Swanson’s practice in Torrance, liposuction offers a permanent way to finally rid yourself of exercise-resistant fat pockets for a leaner, more contoured figure. And thanks to a technique called SmartLipo, the procedure can be performed in the office using only local anesthesia.

What Is It?

Liposuction – in any form – is simply the removal of fat cells. SmartLipo is a form of liposuction in which a laser is used to melt and liquefy fat cells for easy removal. The procedure requires only a very small incision, and allows surgeons to achieve very precise results. SmartLipo also produces a skin-tightening effect for a smoother look. In addition to common “trouble spots,” the procedure can be used to treat even very small areas of fat, such as under the chin.

How It’s Different

In the past, liposuction was usually performed in an operating room under general anesthesia. Not only was the procedure quite expensive, it also involved significant discomfort and a lengthy recovery period. But with SmartLipo, patients can experience the benefits of liposuction without the sky-high costs and downtime associated with traditional liposuction.

“The procedure can be performed on a patient who is completely awake,” Dr. Swanson explains. “They walk in, they walk out, and they can return to all of their normal activities very quickly.”

Who It’s For

SmartLipo is best for patients who exercise regularly, are at a stable weight, but are concerned about stubborn fat deposits in areas like the hips, thighs, abdomen or upper arms. Good candidates for SmartLipo have relatively good skin elasticity and reasonable expectations for the outcome of their procedure.

Liposuction in Torrance

Ready to finally enjoy the lean, contoured body you’ve been dreaming about? Dr. Swanson and her expert team can help. As a woman, Dr. Swanson understands that subtle changes can yield a more beautiful, feminine silhouette. At Dr. Swanson’s plastic surgery practice in Torrance, liposuction is just one way in which patients are helped to achieve their aesthetic goals and enjoy increased confidence and self-esteem.

“Patients often have one thing they just hate about their bodies, and they’ve always thought they just had to live with it,” she says. “But when you change that for them, it can transform their lives. That’s what I love about what I do.”

Although traditional liposuction can be very effective at eliminating fat in certain areas of the body, it comes with a number of downsides.

In the past, women who wanted spot reduction on their abdomen, buttocks, or thighs used traditional liposuction—often with mixed results. Although traditional liposuction can be very effective at eliminating fat in certain areas of the body, it comes with a number of downsides, explains Dr. Edward Buch and Marla Lynne Bell of Body Chic in Somerset, New Jersey.

Women who underwent traditional liposuction and had fatty tissue sucked out from various areas of their bodies found that they were oftentimes left with extra skin that was stretched out and flabby. Although physicians could get rid of the fat underneath the skin through liposuction, they were unable to tighten up the skin through this basic procedure. While the results of traditional liposuction procedures were not necessarily bad, patients were often left complaining that they wish there was a way to retract the skin that was left over after the fat underneath the skin had been sucked out. Thus, the need was born for a more innovative treatment.

At Body Chic in Somerset, NJ, SmartLipo is one of the most commonly requested procedures for women who want to shrink and tighten certain areas of the skin without undergoing extensive surgery. Women who undergo SmartLipo in Somerset, NJ do not have to go under general anesthesia the same way traditional liposuction patients have to.

Dr. Buch says that SmartLipo is popular for two main reasons. First and foremost, women appreciate being able to have liposuction done without having to go under general anesthesia. SmartLipo is done with a local anesthesia and the patient is not asleep, which eliminates a large part of the risk and the fear that women have when going into their cosmetic procedures.

The second reason why SmartLipo is so popular is because of the laser that is involved. Women who undergo SmartLipo in Somerset, NJ, get some skin tightening, as well as fat reduction. Not only do patients undergoing SmartLipo get fat sucked out and melted away, explains Dr. Buch, but they also get some skin tightening afterward. This significantly reduces the amount of loose skin that is left over after the procedure is over, which was one of the major downsides that people complained about with older liposuction methods.

On a related note, Dr. Buch says that many women who undergo SmartLipo will also seek out treatment for unsightly veins at the same time. At his office in Somerset, Dr. Buch and his team can use lasers and radiofrequencies to eliminate unsightly veins from the legs, arms, and face.

Dr. Buch says that most patients who get laser vein treatments or SmartLipo in Somerset, NJ, are back to work within 48 hours. Patients can decide for themselves how much downtime they need before returning to their normal daily activities. However, the staff at Body Chic usually recommends waiting to resume daily workout regimens until two to three weeks have passed.

A prominent non-invasive fat-loss alternative is the Zerona Lipo Laser, which is a pioneer as the first laser-using fat-loss alternative to liposuction.

In an era of expanding non-invasive alternatives to liposuction, Dr Brian Levey, M.D., has chosen to focus his fat loss treatments at the Liebman Wellness Center on two of the most prominent non-invasive kinds: Lipo Laser and Lapex in New Jersey. These treatments ask that patients eat healthy, drink lots of water and exercise regularly, but they also help patients avoid the scares and risks associated with invasive treatments like liposuction.

According to Levey, Lapex BCS (body contouring system) is the only treatment of its kind that is patented: Its manufacturer has patents on the special pads used in the treatment—the pads that come into contact directly with the areas of the skin under which the fat deposits are to be dissipated. Another prominent non-invasive fat-loss alternative is the Zerona Lipo Laser, which is a pioneer as the first laser-using fat-loss alternative to liposuction. The biggest difference between New Jersey Lapex and Zerona Lipo Laser is that the Lipo Laser actually hovers about 10 or 12 inches from the patients’ body during treatment—a characteristic that often makes it less effective than New Jersey Lapex, which comes into direct contact with the patient. Levey explains that, medically, it’s better for the lasers to have contact with the skin because that increases the depth of the laser’s effective penetration to the fat deposits. In addition, Lapex in New Jersey uses more powerful lasers, with a total of 32 lasers contacting the skin directly. The positions of the paddles that touch the skin are shifted every 10 or so minutes.

Levey’s opinion is that the New Jersey Lapex treatment is actually more effective overall than the Lipo Laser treatment, because the depth of penetration for the lasers is much higher, versus when the lasers are held 10 inches or more away from the target areas. If the whole point is to stimulate fat cells to release—or dissipate—their fat, then those vibrations from the laser light have to be as close as possible to the skin’s surface. It’s by that reasoning that Levey often recommends Lapex to New Jersey clients over Lipo Laser. But one thing’s for sure: Under the right circumstances and for the right patient, both those options together can be much more desirable than invasive liposuction and all its attendant risks.

In today’s market, people are much more interested in non-invasive alternatives to invasive surgeries.

In today’s market, people are much more interested in non-invasive alternatives to invasive surgeries, says Dr. Brian Levey, M.D., of the Liebman Wellness Center. For Levey’s line of work in fat loss for New Jersey patients, that means people he sees are increasingly interested in alternatives to liposuction, since liposuction is a classic example of a surgical, invasive fat loss procedure with all the attendant risks of surgery.

Five years ago, says Levey, alternatives to liposuction for fat loss in New Jersey were not available. But these days, it’s just a fact of the fat-loss medical field that liposuction alternatives have ballooned on a huge scale. One of the most popular of these alternatives is called Lipo Laser—a procedure which uses the power of laser light to fight off subcutaneous fat deposits. The idea of using a laser instead of a knife is very attractive to many of Levey’s New Jersey fat loss clients, partly because complications from liposuction can, in the worst case scenarios, lead to terminal illness or even death. Levey is even able to cite celebrity figures who have died because of complications with liposuction. Such a risk is incredibly unattractive to many patients when non-invasive options are available.

As non-invasive alternatives for fat loss in New Jersey are progressing, the rate of obesity is growing. While that in and of itself is not a positive statistic, what Levey points out is that these growing numbers of obese people now have viable alternatives to surgical fat-loss treatments. Of course, growing numbers of obesity also means an increasing market—which could have the result of advancing the non-invasive fat loss field out of necessity.

According to Levey, another benefit to non-invasive alternatives to liposuction is the visibly quick results. For example, Levey had a female patient come in recently for New Jersey fat loss treatment who had loose, flabby skin on her arms—so flabby that when she moved her arms her hanging bags of skin shook. This woman was fortunate to get good results from Lipo Laser treatment in only nine sessions, says Levey. Her arms tightened up, her skin looked better and she was able to avoid invasive fat-loss surgery.

But Levey is also careful to point out that Lipo Laser doesn’t only work on its own; it actually promotes better lifestyles because it works best as a non-invasive fat-loss alternative only if the patient also starts to eat well and exercise regularly. For that reason, Lipo Laser is very suited to people who already lead healthy lifestyles full of good eating, exercise, and drinking lots of water—but who just can’t seem to lose weight. That’s why Levey points out that Lipo Laser is “not a magic laser,” but works only if a patient lives healthily.

To help his treatments achieve high measures of success, Levey counsels patients not only on the New Jersey fat loss treatment they will undergo, but on the kinds of activities they need to do to stay healthy—because only those kinds of activities will help the treatment work effectively. If they’re willing to take on that healthy lifestyle, patients could be avoiding liposuction—a procedure that is invasive but doesn’t ask for patients to improve how they live. Lipo Laser, on the other hand, means a non-invasive fat-stimulation treatment that includes—even during treatment—a 45-minute cardiovascular workout. It might seem like extra work, but it’s the only way to avoid going under the knife for fat loss.

If you’re unhappy with the size or firmness of your breasts, breast augmentation surgery in Dallas is one way to finally achieve the beautiful, feminine look you are looking for.

If you’re unhappy with the size or firmness of your breasts, breast augmentation surgery in Dallas is one way to finally achieve the beautiful, feminine look you are looking for. David Liland M.D., a respected plastic surgeon in Dallas, explains breast augmentation is among the most frequently performed cosmetic procedures performed by plastic surgeons across the United States. The procedure has a relatively low risk of complication, recovery time is fairly short, and when the procedure is performed by the right surgeon, patients enjoy beautiful, natural-feeling breasts that are one or more cup sizes larger than before. Dr. Liland further states breast augmentation surgery in Dallas increases the volume of the breast while providing a more perfected, round shape. Liland suggests carefully considering the different options available as they deliver different advantages in each of their own respects.

Two of the different options when choosing a breast augmentation in Dallas are whether to use saline augmentation or silicone augmentation.

“Number one, I want the patient to select their own implant and be happy about it,” states Dr. Liland.

While each of these options has its own advantages, Dr. Liland states each is better suited to the unique qualities of a particular individual. Combining outstanding customer service and experience in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Liland and his team ensure they are there to help guide you through your decision process leading up to, and after your procedure.

Saline augmentation provides more shape to the breast, but is also associated more with rippling. Meanwhile, silicone augmentation leads to a more natural looking and feeling breast, but is also more expensive and also has a higher instance of scar tissue around the implant called encapsulation. Both options can and will transform the way you look, giving you the confidence and appeal you have always wanted.

You may be wondering if breast augmentation in Dallas is for you. Dr. Liland has performed procedures on women of all ages, seeking diverse and unique procedures to add and enhance their breast size and shape.

“Almost all women are candidates for breast augmentation surgery, even if you have a family history of breast or have had breast cancer augment breasts to look more attractive and appealing afterwards,” says Liland.

So whether you are older and looking to add a more round and feminine shape to your breasts, or you are younger and looking to add another cup size to your breasts, breast augmentation surgery is a procedure that can provide the benefits you seek.

If you’re considering plastic surgery, it is important to know that the surgeon you choose is well qualified to perform your surgery, and thus able to effectively achieve the results you are seeking.

If you’re considering plastic surgery, it is important to know that the surgeon you choose is well qualified to perform your surgery, and thus able to effectively achieve the results you are seeking. According to David Liland, M.D., not every cosmetic surgeon is equally qualified. In fact, according to the Dallas plastic surgeon, if a doctor has not been board certified there is a good chance that the doctor does not possess the necessary experience to perform cosmetic surgery that will have the results you are looking for.

It is important then to note when choosing a doctor for your cosmetic surgery that the individual has been given the title of plastic surgeon. In terms of considering a cosmetic surgery for yourself, it is essential to understand the different types of procedures a plastic surgeon in Dallas can provide. According to Dr. Liland, there are seven basic procedures of cosmetic surgery. These procedures include but are not limited to:

face lift

breast augmentation

liposuction

tummy tuck

breast lift

breast reduction

eye lift

Of these seven basic procedures, Dr. Liland states liposuction and breast augmentation are the two procedures plastic surgeons perform most frequently. When you’re considering a plastic surgeon in Dallas, you’ll first want to review evidence of his surgical skill. While this task may seem difficult to gauge, observing the doctor’s own before and after photos can be very helpful and insightful into the results you can expect to see in your own surgery. Another great option the plastic surgeon in Dallas recommends is interviewing a former patient that underwent the same cosmetic surgery you’re considering. Doing so, you will be able to have a basic idea of what your surgery will entail. These two approaches towards considering cosmetic surgery from a specific plastic surgeon can provide you with a knowledgeable overview of the doctor you are reviewing. You’ll find that Dr. Liland’s skill, compassion and personal approach make your entire consultation and surgical process a low-stress, enjoyable experience. If considering utilizing a plastic surgeon to correct an imperfection, slim down, look younger or simply feel more confident, contact Dr. Liland for a personal consultation.

Have you tried popular diet and exercise programs in the past with disappointing results?

Have you tried popular diet and exercise programs in the past with disappointing results? According to Colleyville, TX, weight loss specialist Dr. Steve Ahmed, MD, of Body Focus Medical Spa and Wellness Center, there is no single weight loss program that is right for everyone, and what works for one patient may not be appropriate for another. The right approach to weight loss depends on your overall health, age, weight and goals. Taking these factors into account is essential for achieving long-term success.

At Dr. Ahmed’s Colleyville, TX, weight loss center, a custom weight loss program is developed for each and every patient. “We want to understand the root cause of the weight problem,” he explains, “not just the symptoms. Because we don’t want only short-term success; we want a permanent solution.”

Assessing Your Needs

Your personalized weight loss program begins with a thorough assessment of your physical condition and goals. Dr. Ahmed reviews your weight, caloric intake, dietary history, exercise habits, Body Mass Index (BMI), body fat percentage and other factors. This assessment allows you and the doctor to establish realistic goals – that is, how much weight you should lose and how quickly you can shed those extra pounds.

Your preferences will be considered as well. For instance, are you uncomfortable with injections? Are you interested in a particular type of diet plan? In order to ensure that each patient is provided with exactly the right solutions for him or her, Dr. Ahmed makes the widest possible range of surgical and non-surgical options available.

Weight Loss Programs

Because every patient has unique goals, desires and challenges, Dr. Ahmed offers several types of weight and fat loss programs – all rooted in science and proven to achieve results. The programs offered at Body Focus Medical Spa and Wellness Center include:

HCG

PrescriptionPLUS lifestyle program

Mesotherapy

SlimDome

Lipo-Vite

InBody230

Reaction radio frequency cellulite reduction

Lipodissolve

Body Contouring

Sometimes weight loss isn’t enough to achieve the smooth, contoured body you want. For this reason, in addition to diet and other weight loss programs, Body Focus Medical Spa and Wellness Center offers a number of non-invasive and minimally invasive body sculpting solutions.

Liposuction (whether traditional, laser lipo, SmartLipo or Body Jet) is just one of the options available at Dr. Ahmed’s Colleyville, TX, weight loss center. At Body Focus Medical Spa and Wellness Center, liposuction can be performed safely and comfortably in the office under local anesthesia. And thanks to cutting-edge equipment and techniques, the procedure involves minimal downtime and virtually no visible scarring.

Personalized Weight Loss in Colleyville, TX

When you’re ready to tackle those excess pounds and inches once and for all, Dr. Ahmed’s personalized, holistic, medically sound approach is ideal for you. Your weight loss program includes not only the tools to reach your goals but also the tools to maintain your results. With Body Focus Medical Spa and Wellness Center, you get exactly the right weight loss program to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

A balanced weight-loss program will be more effective in the long run.

With people leading hectic lives, fast food meals on-the-run has replaced taking the time to shop for food and prepare balanced meals. This has resulted in increased obesity rates in every age group. Obesity has been a growing concern in the US. Every year the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tracks the obesity rates for each state. Traditionally, Colorado has been one of the states with the lowest obesity rates. While this is still true, Colorado went from 15-19% in 2009 to over 20% in 2010. But this trend doesn’t have to seal people’s fates.

Every day people see celebrities touting various weight loss programs on television or commercials peddling magic pills that will miraculously make them thinner and happier. But do those programs and pills provide long term weight loss solutions? Are those effective Ft. Collins weight loss programs?

People might think that if they are looking to lose weight in Fort Collins, they could turn to their doctors for nutritional advice. This may not be the most accurate information says Dr. James Thacker of Reflections Medspa. “I received very limited nutritional training in medical school. There is much greater emphasis placed on nutrition now than when I was in medical school.”

Dr. James Thacker of Reflections Medspa offers the comprehensive Take Shape For Life weight loss program for people in Fort Collins. This entails Fort Collins weight loss clients go to “home school for nutrition.” They are given textbooks, workbooks, and assignments and are held responsible by a Health Coach. The Health Coach provides one-on-one support and guidance throughout the program. Unlike a pill or other quick-fix diet that leaves you with cravings and doesn’t change behavior, Take Shape For Life requires that people want to make a commitment to becoming healthier by changing the way they look at food and incorporating regular exercise into their week.

When you begin the program, your Health Coach will help you get started on the Medifast 5 & 1 Plan. The Medifast 5 & 1 Plan comprises clinically-proven, doctor-recommended, and portioned-controlled meals. The program does not end once people have achieved their goal weight. You become part of a network designed to help you maintain a healthy life style.

Unfortunately for some, obesity has been a reality since childhood where they first learned bad habits that became more pronounced as adults. The ups and downs of yo yo dieting are mostly unsuccessful and have left people frustrated.

For more information of the Take Shape For Life Ft. Collins weight loss program, contact Dr. Thacker at his office.
