What is Glytone?

Looking younger doesn’t have to mean going under the knife. A wealth of skincare products are available that can make your skin look fresher and rejuvenated, according to Dr. Pooja Malik, medical director of Mullica Hill Skincare in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Here, she talks about Glytone products, which can help you achieve that look with minimal effort.
Glytone skincare products, like Obagi and really any pharmaceutical grade skincare products, help achieve younger, fresher looking skin by exfoliation. Some of the common ingredients in these products are retinols, Retin-A, hydroxy acids and hydroquinones.
Whenever you use a good skin care regimen that produces skin exfoliatio,n you are making way for quicker cellular turnover which in turn makes your skin appear healthier and more luminous. Really, a good skin care program is half your battle in the anti-aging war.
Glytone products are specially formulated to suit the specific needs of every customer, which means that they are formulated for specific skin types, and also for specific ages. In conjunction with your physician or med spa provider, you can find a product that is right for you.
Benefits of Glycolic Acid
The products rely on free glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid commonly found in skincare products because it has the ability to effortlessly and safely penetrate the skin. It is often used in dermatologically given chemical peels, and it is both colorless and odorless.
It works as it destroys the “glue” that holds dead skin onto the face, making it easy to come off and reveal a fresher layer underneath. As it is highly soluble, it also can draw moisturizers deeper into the skin’s surface, in effect making it both smoother and softer.
Skincare Systems
Glytone offers eight skincare lines, which help with acne, sun damage and hyperpigmentation, among other issues. All the systems include products such as facial washes, cleansers and toners, and products for both the face and body are available. Ask your local med spa about which Glytone products would be right for you.
